Believe in Scotland 2024 Independence Campaign Crowdfunder

We don’t stop, we won’t give up and we will win!

Whatever path to independence we follow, they all start with the simple step of convincing the people of Scotland to support independence and that is what we do.

These may be challenging times to campaign in but Believe in Scotland is up for the challenge. We believe that only independence can allow us to build a better nation and that Scotland needs to leave this dysfunctional union that does nothing for Scotland that we couldn't do so much better ourselves.

Our movement remains strong, as does independence support. Anyone thinking that Scottish independence isn't on the nation's agenda will be severely disappointed.

Let’s rise to the challenge

Believe in Scotland keeps rising to that challenge and has led the indy campaign since our launch five years ago. Simply because we believe in the promise of a better Scotland. We believe in a fairer, more equal and progressive Scotland, in a greener, happier, healthier Scotland - one that can only be created through independence.

Our belief in a better, independent Scotland is one that is shared by half the country and we need to push on as the tipping point may be close. People ask how long will independence take? The answer is that it depends on how hard we are willing to work for it. Back Believe in Scotland to work even harder.

Our new Citizens’ Convention proposal is the most comprehensive and practical path to independence. We feel we've been defending for two long, let’s get on the front foot.

We Deliver

Believe in Scotland is a coalition of 142 grassroots indy campaign groups, we are the backbone of the independence campaign. You know our track record, you know that we deliver and that every penny raised via personal donations to our crowdfunders goes on campaigning.

Our successes include Scotland the Brief, the book that makes the economic case for independence. Our march and rallies have provided major boosts to the movement and generated mainstream media coverage, while our billboards and social media presence are impossible to ignore. In the last five years, our network has distributed more than 4.5 million items of campaign material.

This year, we've rolled out our regional Independence Campaign Days, bringing activists from all over Scotland to regions where independence support needs a boost. We've also produced two regional eight-page pamphlets.

We have seen that when we campaign positively, support increases.

What’s next?

Soon we will roll out a national tour of Creating Scotland events – local, culturally-focussed events attracting hundreds, where we drop the party politics and ask undecided voters what their hopes and dreams for a better Scotland might be.

We are hosting a rally and broadcast from Holyrood to mark the tenth anniversary of the indyref, to send a message that independence support is strong and looking forward. We will also be launching a new billboard campaign, running more regional and national days of action.

In a nutshell

Winners don't fear challenges; they relish them and the opportunities they represent. If you back Believe in Scotland just with whatever you can afford, we will give it all we've got.

How the raffle element works

All donations to our crowdfunded are rewarded with entries into our crowdfunder raffle where you have the chance to win a one-of-a-kind original artwork from Gerard Burns called 'To Journey in Winter' (Worth £3,750), a long weekend stay on Islay, one of six signed and framed 'Still Yes' canvass prints, bottles Believe in Scotland Whisky and Still Yes Dry Gin (as long as you are over 18) and a selection of other BiS related goodies.

There will be winners every Friday throughout the crowdfunder with the Gerard Burns painting and the Weekend Stay to Islay being drawn at the conclusion of the crowdfunder.

Good luck!

Thank you for Believing in Scotland.
