10,000 Scots just emailed the UK Prime Minister demanding indyref2

Biggest ever Independence Majority at Holyrood! It’s time for an independence referendum

Scotland has once again voted a pro-independence majority of MSPs in the Scottish Parliament. Scotland has had enough of democratic denial, it’s time for an independence referendum. A historic fifth consecutive SNP Government has been elected, alongside a record-breaking total of Scottish Green MSPs. Independence supporters hold 73 seats out of 129 - 57% of all seats.

Here is what you need to know about the Scottish Parliament election

Looking back on last week's Believe in Scotland march and why it's important.

Many thousands marched for independence at what many describe as the most successful Believe in Scotland march and rally yet. The atmosphere was positive and friendly but also very definitely determined. There was also a strong sense of unity among all the politically diverse groups that took part. We aimed to put independence back at the top of the nation’s agenda ahead of the Holyrood election and to continue our role of uniting the movement whilst bringing back that 2014 Yes family atmosphere and this march and rally achieved those goals and more.

Believe in Scotland campaigns for independence, helping the people of Scotland realise that Scotland can be a far better nation than we have now under the uncaring, incompetent and harmful governance of Westminster. That is what we live for.

We are not in this to help any political party, just to help Scotland be the nation we know it can be, to help the Scottish people achieve our potential. To achieve that potential, to lift our nation above its underserved second-rate/half-nation status we need to understand that Scottish culture is core to our national identity, self-respect and confidence.

Brian Cox to Speak at Believe in Scotland Independence Rally

Our march and rally for Scottish Independence in Edinburgh on Saturday, March 28th is creating a real buzz. Already announced as speakers are the First Minister John Swinney MSP and Scottish Green Party Co-leaders Gillian Mackay MSP and Ross Greer MSP, all of whom will be addressing a major independence rally for the first time as leaders of their respective parties.

Now joining our march and rally will be the actor Brian Cox, a long-term supporter of Scottish independence who even spoke at the launch of Yes Scotland in 2012.
