Scottish Independence Congress

The Scottish Independence Congress on Saturday the 17th of February 2024 will act as the launch platform for our 2024 campaign, organising and planning for the year ahead. This is an incredibly important day for the independence campaign, and we want as many active independence campaign groups to be represented as possible.

The Congress will take place online and will run from 10am until 4:45pm, with some 5 minute breaks between sessions and an extended lunch break.

The morning session will be more focussed on the ‘why?’. Why we need to get out and campaign, why we need to paint a positive vision for an independent Scotland and why we need to target key demographics and areas. The afternoon session will be more about the ‘how?’. The practical side of the campaign. How are we going to campaign and how are we going to work together to increase support for independence?

The full agenda for the Congress will be made available in a couple weeks time with a mix of panel discussions, presentations, open discussion and voting.
Throughout the day, all groups will have a chance to ask questions and have their say, with a large focus of the afternoon session being based around discussing the information from the morning session and campaign suggestions.

Each group can send along two voting delegates.
