The Union has the institutions of the UK, the mainstream media and the legacy of 2014 scaremongering but nothing else. It has nothing positive to say about the Union nor any positive ideas for creating a better Scotland.
The Yes side has hundreds of thousands of vocal supporters, we dominate social media, we have far more activists and so we can have the streets – but we are not communicating correctly. We are trying to win arguments but we should never confuse winning an argument with winning a vote.
Never underestimate the value of educated conversationalists spreading positive visions through networks and communities. That is all that has ever brought real change to the world and it’s what moved the polls last time – that’s what being an Independence Ambassador is all about – so let’s get really good at it!
