FREE Indy Banners for your Yes group

For several years Believe in Scotland has been providing banners for local Yes Groups which have been displayed on the sides of houses, in farmers fields and peoples gardens etc. It’s been a great success and is a very cost effective way to get key messages out.
We have an opportunity to boost this activity and to introduce some new designs through a partnership with a relatively new group called Meidas Scotland, who ran a crowdfunder to carry out some indy campaigning. Meidas Scotland have allocated a budget of £2,500 which includes generous funding from SIF and have asked BiS and Indy Poster Boy to provide some designs for banners and for BiS to promote the banners to our affiliated local Yes Groups.
These are expected to be used as mini billboard style banners and not as backgrounds for stalls and events etc. We already have a range of BiS canvass banners for that purpose.
Strong images and clear/short and punchy text are vital for such canvas banners to work as passers by are usually on public transport or in a car and only have a few seconds to assimilate the info. The PVC banners will be produced by Edinburgh Banners who give Yes Groups a discount and sent directly to the Yes Group ordering the banners.
The standard size we are envisaging is 2.5 x 1.25 mtrs but we can make them marginally smaller or preferably larger to suit your location.
Obviously, we want good value for money and for the banners to be in really good positions so we would like any groups that would like one of the banners to fill in the form below stating what Yes Group you are from and where the banner(s) will be located.
We would also like you to commit to taking some photos once the banners are up and post them to the Believe in Scotland Facebook Group, where they will be seen by thousands and BiS can re-share onwards.
For the BiS banners, if you can supply us a postcode for the banners, we will also commit to area specific social media advertising so that people see the banners in location and then are reminded of the message the next time they go on social media.
