Participants will assemble in Glasgow on Kelvin Way from 11:30am onwards, with the march setting off at 12:30pm. Its final destination will be George Square, where the rally will take place. We are estimating that the march should reach George Square by 1:45pm.

Route: Kelvin Way, University Ave, Gibson Street, Eldon Street, Woodlands Rd, Charing Cross, Sauchiehall St, Blythswood Street, Blythswood Sq, West George Street, Nelson Mandela's Place, George Street, onto George Square. (opp. North Hanover Street)

Those with limited mobility are being invited to lead the march. If this applies to you and you would like to be at the front of the march then please make your way to the University Avenue end of Kelvin Way before the start.

At George Square there will also be an area reserved for those with limited mobility and wheelchairs and there will be benches for people to sit on.

At George Square there should also be a selection of stalls run by different groups so feel free to go over and say hello.

This event is held in partnership with Pensioners for Independence.

The UK pays one of the worst State Pensions in the developed world. An independent Scotland can do better.

Believe in Scotland and Pensioners for Independence are calling for independence supporters to show up to march for independence and a fairer pension for all.

March with us to unleash Scotland's full potential!
