Accessibility at Calton Hill
We want everyone to be able to join the rally at Calton Hill, and we’ve made sure accessibility is a top priority. We know that the hill is steep, so we’re providing a dedicated shuttle bus service to help anyone who needs it reach the top comfortably.
Shuttle Bus Service
A 12-seater bus, equipped for two wheelchairs, bringing the total to 14 people. will run a continuous service from the bottom of Calton Hill Drive to the top of Calton Hill.

A 12-seater bus, equipped for two wheelchairs, bringing the total to 14 people. will run a continuous service from the bottom of Calton Hill Drive to the top of Calton Hill.
- Operating 12:00pm – 3:30pm, the drive up the hill takes around 2 minutes, and the return trip down is another 2 minutes, so we can make multiple trips throughout the day.
Clear drop-off and pick-up points will be staffed at both locations to help coordinate the service.
The shuttle will pause briefly while the march progresses up Calton Hill Drive, but will otherwise run continuously.
Take the bus directly to the rally site from Regent Road (near the start of Calton Hill Drive) or you can just take the bus down after the rally. No obligation to use it both directions.
On-Site Facilities
Wheelchair accessible toilets (portaloo) will be available at the rally site.
